Our Start programs are designed to ignite excitement for entrepreneurship and build a foundational entrepreneurial mindset and skillset. Open to students and researchers from HPI and other universities, the programs aim to lower barriers and foster a can-do attitude toward tech entrepreneurship.

Through experience-driven education and active involvement from the HPI Engine Community, participants are encouraged to explore entrepreneurial concepts, engage with real-world challenges, and develop problem-solving skills. You’ll also get initial insights into how to identify and develop ideas that could work as business ventures. Whether you're just curious about entrepreneurship or eager to take the first steps, these programs provide the tools and inspiration to grow in a supportive environment.

By participating in the Start programs, you'll gain a strong foundation in entrepreneurship, equipping you with the essential mindset and skillset needed to explore the world of tech startups. You'll develop a can-do attitude toward entrepreneurship, learning to approach challenges with confidence. In addition, you’ll become familiar with the typical language and terminology used in the startup ecosystem and Venture Capital funding, helping you navigate discussions about business models, funding rounds, and scaling.
